RIM coating effect not as good as I had hoped

I gave the wheels a hose today and was hoping the cleaning affect would be like water on waxed car paint or at least like the RIM cleaner was, but the dirt/brake-dust remained on the wheels.
I had to put the sponge on the wheels and at least the sponge got the wheels looking very clean.

Looks like I'll be buying more of the Xtreme RIM CLEANER

The 3 products were in a HSV Holden branded boxed set for AUS$50.99 from Repco. The items are sold seperately as well, but I didn't note their price.

Cleaned Wheels with an Amazing German product

I recently purchased SONAX wheel cleaning products:

I used the Rim Cleaner and after the 5 minutes of watching the spray turn a dark purple red and the odd touch with a brush, I hosed the "red" wheel cleaner off and the 14 year old BMW MOTORSPORT alloy wheels look brand new !!!!

I removed the wheels from the car to wash them, outside and inside and the result is amazing.

The RIM COATING spray has "Nano-pro" technology - small molecule particles that "bond" to the wheel surface giving a protective coating to the wheel. The coating is supposed to make dirt and brake dust just hose off.

Has anyone else used this product? - I'm sold
