very simple.

here is the strategy :

1. sell your house
2. move to europe
3. buy the car you want
4. live happily ever after

if any of the above is causing headaches then you should buy a car from the 650+ different types and models currently available in the US.

Amen bro. All I want is a 4door rwd hatch. with the 35i engine preferably but I dont think they sell this even in germany. 130i hatch is max. Maybe some day....

try mexico, tijuana for example. I have seen the car firsthand in San Diego with Mexican plates. I really didn't card much for the looks. I also believe mexico has a 16% tax, but you are paying in Pesos so it is still cheaper?

Virtually impossible since the BMW hasn't certified the hatchback. Maybe in a couple of years...

Hi folks, I live in the U.S. Does anyone have any advice on how I can get a 1-Series hatchback? I am happy to travel out of the country to get it ad bring it back, and it could be new or used.
