    Re: Anti-freeze

According to Mike Miller, (Techtalk in Roundel Magazine) he recommends only BMW anti-freeze in BMW`s. It cost a little more, but I do belive it makes a difference on our cars.

    Re: Anti-freeze

I've personally seen corrosion attacking the head on a BMW that I purchased a few years ago. The antifreeze in that engine was green, so it was not OEM. Now this could have been caused from a long service interval but I don't take the chance anymore. For an extra couple of bucks it gives me some peace of mind.
    Just my 2 cents!!

    Hi people!

Could someone tell me plz, can i put a 'Total' anti-freeze into the radiator of my M5 E39? Or is there a specified anti-freeze i must use. BMW would only suggest the best of course, like there own make.

    Thanks for your time!
