172MPH GPS picture repost PLEASE

Thank you for all your help with my numerous coupes. I'd love to see that pic again of your M hitting 172 mph.

I will miss your articulability and class (m)

Weird - my coupe life is starting to feel like my lived life: birth, stuff, more stuff, other stuff, events, people, life, memories, loss, more people and stuff, etc., etc. forming sedimental layers that acquire names and meaning.

Now, another event - and a layer gets renamed - in this case the near future becomes "Post-Gregor"

My introversion lifts long enough to permit me to say that you are one of the few I'd have liked to have met.

a few other layers: Marauder, Ox/M, Pinecone, G'boro M Coupe, USNAMIT

We shall now be as dust in the road.

As Douglas Adams rolls over in his grave....

Of course, as a lawyer, perhaps your paraphrasing was deliberate?

In any case, sorry to see you go, but good luck with your future automobiling.

    Re: Bummer

That's one fewer here in CT and on the track in the area. It will be a bit more average out there now.

MC market value is always a big mystery <IMG src=""height="60">

    Re: See ya

To those in the Michigan area, Coupe is coming your way. And, it will be in a trailer with very fast company. They will enjoy the car, which is wonderful. And, Jen can add another fast gal in an M Coupe to the HPDE roster.

Get ready MI, coming your way.

    See ya

I predict you'll be back. It's possible to have both the logbook and the Coupe in one package :-)

BTW, I've done the FF thing too (I've had two of them) but it's been a few years. Happy to talk about it if you want.--

Goodbye & Thanks for All the Fish

All things must pass, and the Coupe is soon headed to a new home in Michigan. I was overwhelmed by the volume of calls in response to the ad in autotrader.

The upside is that the Coupe is going to a wonderful home in Michigan where it will continue to be used for HPDE days by a young lady whose husband runs a highly modified P Car. I am confident that she will enjoy it as much as we have. The M Coupe remains one of the most reliable and enjoyable cars I have owned.

It is now time to go out and to buy something with a log book. A formula ford is the most likely candidate.

On a personal note, thank you to all of you for the many years of help and encouragement. It has been an honor and a pleasure. If anyone wants names of people dying to buy an S54 M Coupe, I have a waiting list of people who have e-mailed me with pleas to sell them the car. The M Coupe mystique is alive and well.
