AGAIN I say.. Look around the fuse box right where the fuse is. If its look smelted down crack open the fuse box and look for heat damage.

The little black box near your right knee with 6

pins. Left side of console back of temp dial and AC switch. It has a PC card inside with a small relay which works the AC compressor clutch.

prolly the switch leads would be the next place to check for 12v

Go out and look at the fuse for them. There is a heat meltdown problem in that fuse area. No real relays to speak of. But a wiring diagram is really no use. On these cars a person who knows what they are doing rarely has to get out a wiring diagram.

My AC clutch coil shorted and fried the relay

inside of the temp control.

Thanks. The way that it died it acted like a relay, but could be a broken ground.

mounted on the small PC board which is inside of the AC Temp control. It controls the compressor clutch.

86 535i Is there a heater/AC blower relay?

The heater and AC blowers just quit. There is power at the fuse, but the AC button doesn't light and neither motor runs.
