Re: Would a bad sensor cause a mis? Its the one closest to the valve cover and its blue to grayish blue depending on age. What about the Platinums are you using them?

Its one of the sensors on the thermostat housing.

Oops - woring shoud be wiring
Check the ECU temp. sensor and its woring to the ECU.

cold temp mis at speed 86 353i Starts ok. If under 40* car acts like flooding if accelerator not touched, but idles ok after a couple accelerator pumps. But main problem is that until engine completely warms up it has an intermittant stumbling mis at speed. Acts like times that I got bad gas but enough fuel has been replaced so this shouldn't be the problem.
