Nope, direction is correct. They seem better when cold which is why I was thinking about going higher. I think I'm going to try that today and see for a couple days.

Try lowering instead? Not sure if you are quoting cold temps or hot. The numbers you give should be OK hot temps, 4 psi less if cold.

I put a set of these on my 328 and HATE them!

Based on everyones comments like yours about how much the like them esp. for the price I put them on my 328. I am very unhappy with them. I wish I still had my very worn out Pilots back! I don't know why these would change the car so much. It's down right a handful to drive now. Bumps are brutal and it darts around with the tiniest crack in pavement. I've been keeping them around 36~38psi. Maybe I'm running them too low? Do you guys run them with 50psi in them? The sidewall says 51psi max.

I have read many reviews and the PS2 always finishes top.

when the M3 was new, the car mags attributed a large part of its handling prowess to the Michelins..

If you want the M3 to drive like an M3.. you need the tires that make it do the things it is supposed to do. If not you may as well get another 3 series and ghetto it all up!

I've used Kumho ECSTA MX's. I found that they have great grip, great value, decent wet grip and lasted 18,000 miles. Toward the end of their life, they did get loud. I'd expect that from any tire though. Anyway, I've decided to try Falken FK452's on my 99 E36 M3. They've only been on for 180 miles so far. Very quiet ride. I can hear the exhaust very well. I haven't pushed them yet b/c they're still in their break-in period. I checked various reviews on the Falkens and was impressed. So we'll see...

I've used several Kumho Ecsta MX

good price performance, about 10k miles on backs, 20k on fronts, including occasional very agressive street use and a couple of track DE's. I was surprised how well they did near end of life at the last DE.
