Re: '94 530i power steering hose removal Gruss, You're right! I didn't put enough information in the request for help. I had taken out the suction hose by wriggling it and pulling from the bottom of the car which was very difficult to do. Once I got it out, decided to remove the power steering pump in order to push the new hose up into the engine compartment. Removing the hose with the pump in place was the problem. In the future, I'll be sure to put some more detail into my problem so that the folks on the board to offer the right help! Thanks for taking a look... TJ

'94 530i power steering hose removal Could anyone give me some guidance on the easiest, or best, way to remove the power steering suction hose (this is the hose that is also secured to the block via a 10mm bolt)? Should I remove the power steering pump or can this be done with the pump in place? I've search the boards and can't find any best ideas for the 530i. Thanks for the help, TJ
