update: lights still on

Cleaned the front wheel sensors, the lights still come on after a few minutes of driving (ABS, brake, DSC, tire pressure monitor). I'll clean the rear ones soon and see if it clears things up.

Pulled and cleaned both front sensors, hope that will do the trick. They were indeed gunked up with metal shavings. Thanks again Snook.

could be a wheel speed sensor up front...

they get clogged up with tire junk.....

simple allen wrench can take it out...attaches to the back of the spindle....you'll see it....allen wrench....one bolt.

I recall that multiple lights at one time actually does mean something. If I remember, I will try to look it up tonight. I'll post back tomorrow if I find something or not.

Weird dummy lights are on...what's the deal?

Over the past 4 days they've come on twice. Usually if I turn off the engine for an extended period they don't come back. It's the ABS, traction control, brake, and tire sensor light, all at once. Any ideas? Perhaps a sensor or fuse? No loss of power. Any input appreciated. 2001 E46 M3 coupe, 83xxx miles. Thanks.
