Check FPR, fuel lines, injectors... If you smell fuel, there is likely a fuel leak somewhere. I had a small rack on the return fuel line that you couldn't see, but when the fuel pump was running, it spit out a large volume of fuel into the engine compartment. Start up the engine and ope the hood. You'll probably find it quickly. Good luck, Christopher 1985 745i Las Vegas

running ruff , and missing hey wondering if i could get some help figuring out this problem, i have a 83 733i manual.the motor runs smooth for the most part but there is a heavy smell of unburned gas, and it has a hard time reving past 4000 rpm, seems to be down on power as well.Just wondering what would be the best things to start checking first. thanks all.
