She's up on eBay AGAIN! Folks, The Coupe is back up again on eBay due to the fact that the family really needs to move the car for liquidity reasons. Again, all proceeds would go to my friend's widow and two kids. Just trying to move this car. Any comments on pricing are much appreciated. The number is rapidly approaching $30K. While no one is expecting to get out even close to what was spent, this is clearly the perfect car for someone that loves the Coupe so much that they want to build it into a pristine race car themselves, but just don't want to tear up their street car. Thanks. John eBay Auction

Well worth it. Patrick __________________________________________________ ____________________________ "Racing... because golf, football and baseball only require one ball." Anonymous
Well worth it.
So tempting ... I'd put a 12:1 compression 2.5L M50 in there, built a custom adjustable rear suspension, and race it in SCCA STU @ 2750 lbs w/driver ... like that it would also slot nicely into NASA GTS3 (@2700) and/or BMWCCA DM. As it sits it could probably be a decent NASA GTS3/BMWCCA CM car, but has no good place to play in SCCA. -- Go Dog Go Racing

Re: SCCA M Coupe Restoration Project Very nice restoration! Most of us never get to see the inner skins of the M Coupe, so thanks for the detailed pictures!

Re: SCCA M Coupe Restoration Project The rear wing, front splitter, s52 race motor, and many other things were done by Road n Race Automotive.
Sorry...must have missed this one. The rear wing is from a Porsche 996 Cup car. The front splitter was fabricated by the car's prior tech so I can't be of any help but might be able to get you some pics. The hood is from a place called RaceonUsa or something like that. I've attached the link. Pat Avakian passed on that information. They gave me a screaming deal on the hood. It retails for $1200 or $1000 but there was a group buy on Bimmerforums I believe. $600 plus shipping. Feel free to send me an email if you have further questions. John
Sorry...must have missed this one.
Just a stock Z3 Coupe cover with some... ...holes cut in to look exactly like the factory cutout on the opposite side to preserve the OEM look.

What's the price range? <IMG src="http://homepage.mac.com/booboo/.Pictures/axissm.gif"height="60">
What's the price range?
Yes...(more)... My friend is losing a battle with cancer that's been ongoing for over a year. I think that driving the car again was a big motivating force for him. While he did get to drive the car when i delivered it, he unfortunately won't ever have the opportunity to race it. I'm trying to sell the car for his wife to alleviate some of the concerns that she's dealing with. If you know of anyone interested, please have them email me. Thanks AC. John
Yes...(more)...
what?? doesn't sound good
what??
Unfortunately she's going up for sale... ...due to a sad and tragic turn of events, i'm going to have to market the car for sale immediately.
Unfortunately she's going up for sale...
Re: SCCA M Coupe Restoration Project Extremely impressed!!! Car looks beautiful. Absolutely beautiful! Can you give me any info on the front splitter, hood, and rear wing? As of now my car just sits on the back of a trailer (which isn't as nice as yours..lOL!), so why not go this way. My weight limit for my class is 2520lb...this would be perfect! Thanks Jason Becker 25 SSM
You guys are more than welcome to my info... Just shot me an email or something. I have a buildout spreadsheet that contains labor times for everything we did, and then some!
