Probably just noise No changes were made to the engine AFAIK. That's about the difference between an auto and manual, however. '93 was the last year for the M30 "big six".

Re: Whats the diffrence? There are diffrent sites who list the figures. Not sure if they arre way off or not. They say the 93 does 0-60 in 8.2 & 1/4 mile in 16.2 and the 89 0-60 in 6.9 & 1/4 mile in 15.5. They dont list 91 model year. So im wondering if between those years they changed anything? i.e. hp, compression etc.

Whats the diffrence? I saw that a 89 535i was 1 second quicker then a 93. I have a 91. What performance figures are closer to the 91 535i?
