Re: 2010 135 Cpe OR wait for 2011 135 Cpe with 1 turbo

I had a 2007 MINI CooperS with the twin scroll turbo and the direct injection, etc. BMW took that tech and put it in the 2011 135i engine. Presuming it works as well as the MINI motor, heck yeah it is worth it! In 6th gear on the highway, the 135i gets as good fuel economy as the 128i. I bought a 128i primarily because of the cost and as I live in the DC area, I figured no need to fly around town in a 135i and get speeding tickets (That is what the Lotus is for...) But for someone who has only 1 car, or whoose other car is something with standard performance, the 135i with the twin scroll makes alot of sense. The MINI's throttle response was awesome in sport mode, and I can only imagine what a 135i would be like with proper, rear wheel drive.

    2010 135 Cpe OR wait for 2011 135 Cpe with 1 turbo

What do you guys/gals think? Make a deal on a 2010 twin turbo 135 or wait for the single turbo? Supposedly they say, there will be better fuel economy and better throttle response. Not sure I would notice, for the money. Let me know what you think,
