You will need to read the diagnostics codes There are many things that can cause Engine Failsafe. You will have to get the diagnostics codes read from a BMW diagnostics computer.

Engine Failsafe Program Have '01 740i Sport with 105k miles. Engine Fail Safe Program came up on display. Starts buts run rough then dies, any thoughts would be much appreciated.
