Re: Relay Module 89 525i Windows, alarm and wipers are controlled by the general module. It sounds like your General Module is bad or missing. Search this site for general module and there are many listings on the subject. realoem.com will have the part number

Relay Module 89 525i I am missing a relay module under the backseat in my 89 525i. The dealer identified it as wiper pressure relay(ADV). They couldn't however provide me with one because they don't know the color of it. The dealer said that without knowing the color they couldn't help. Anyone know the color for it? The engine is the m20 and the body style is e34. I was told that without this relay my windows, door locks, OBC, radio and wipers won't work. They currently don't and I am trying to figure out why. I have replaced a broken fusible link under the hood but that didn't help. Any ideas? I know the relay module could be bad but I want to rule out the smaller stuff first.
