    A long shot possibility

You didn't mention the mileage on the car, so this may be way off. You description sounds 'sort of' like what happens when one of the coils fails. If you are certain that the car's computer is shutting it down, then this isn't it. However, I've had two ///M roadster experiences with a coil failing, and it acted somewhat like you've described.

By now you may have the whole thing resolved, but I thought I'd mention this possibility.

Get it to a BMW repair guy NOW...

Typically, when the computer starts regulating your power, it is either an engine or tranny issue.

Have it diagnosed and repaired before you trash your car and your wallet.

    BMW M Roadster

Has anyone ever had this experience and could tell me what possibly needs to be done to fix it.

Car starts fine....after a few miles she begins to buck, no matter what gear Im in....usually at around 40 MPH....the newest thing I experienced today was that she won't go above 25 MPH in any gear until I shut the engine off and restart.....Whats up with that...?

I'm thinking the computer is shuting the engine down for some reason.....Has anyone out there had a simular issue at any time.

    Thanks,
    Ron
