    I think LHM is 80km/h max. OBD port is ( in RHD Australian Spec ) on RHS bottom dash.....in LHD i imagine maybe in the glove compartment .I wouldn't drive very far in LHM. I don't know about disconnecting the battery because why would you want to without rectifying the problem ? :)

    Hi Everyone.
    Please can people advise me how long and how fast am I able to drive in Limp Home Mode. Will it damage the car. It was missfiring and now has gone into LHM. Can I reset it by disconnecting the car battery?
    The car is a BMW Alpina V8 4.6 1998 model. Everything else works.
    Thanking you in advance.


    BTW where is the OBD port located on these cars?
