    Trunk opening spontaneously

My 128i has been back to the dealership 7 times for the trunk opening spontaneously. They haven't been able to fix it or figure out why it is happening. I was traveling down the interstate at 80mph and my trunk popped open. It has now been in the shop for over a month with nothing accomplished. And of course, the dealership and BMW of North America want me to eat the negative equity if I want to trade it in. In addition, the convertible top and stereo have already had to be replaced. The front driver seat track had to be rebuilt, and the slider on the driver side does not close when the top goes down. "The Ultimate Driving Machine" has not become "The Ultimate Driving Nightmare". I am very disappointed with the car and how BMW is handling the situation. Think twice before buying. It is a lot of money to pay for a vehicle that is constantly in the shop
