The rear ones in the pic above have steel plates(m that are on the bottom, about 8" square, they came that way. These are the Powerbuilt jackstands with the little hydraulic jacks that are built into them. The front jackstands are just regular ones that I put a piece of plywood under. The cement floor won't crack or dent, just want to limit the epoxy from getting too scratched up. You did the epoxy on the floor, right?

Actually, car lived first 6 years of life in Texas. It was garaged and in great shape, but Texas heat did a number on it. You need to remove yours and clean underneath, jk. Looking at the "trellis",... ... as I like to call it, for the wiper motor brings back memories. A "subframe" to hold the wiper motor. WOW! Unfortunately, I may be revisting that area soon. The wiper motor (#2) on the 528 is making weird noises. Damn! I know he's not jealous of the M5. He can't be. The 528 is now in the top tier position -daily driver. The trans and the wiper motor. Correct! In my car it helps holding the accelerator cable, but other than that, it's just a panel. Actually, the original piece crumbled to pieces as I was removing it. Years of V8 engine heat did a job on it.
