DOW DC 4, been using it fir years, Great Stuff!!

I switched to "made in USA"....

...when Gummi P became hard to find. I use Dow Corning DC4, used commonly by the aviation industry on aircraft door seals. It has the same ability as Gummi P to slightly swell the rubber seals, and works really well keeping doors from sticking on my "winter car" here in the Buffalo, NY area. I've been using it since 2004 on 4 different vehicles including my Z3 with no issues at all. I also tried Dow Corning DC111 vacume grease, commonly used by NASA on spacecraft rubber parts. It seemed to work equally well. Both are readily available on line.Doug

Alternative to Gummi Pfledge

I remember reading here about an alternative to the NLA Gummi Pfledge originally sold by BMW to recondition the rubber seals. I think it was from Wurth. Does anyone have a link?
