I have never bought one of these myself, but you may find that these are not BMW's or the dealer's packages; They are 3rd party plans on which the dealer makes a commission. So, when the 3rd party goes bankrupt before you file any claims, as so many of them seem to do, you are S.O.L. The dealer will not stand behind someone else's package, even if they "sold" it to you. Experience with Extended Service Plan? My wife has a 2008 328xi and is almost out of her warranty. The local dealer offered her a maint. package and a warranty package each for 2 yrs. I was just wondering if anyone thought they might be worth it or is it a steaming pile? Thanks.
