Re: hydro brake booster thanks for the info, Shark. I have done this before, but not recently. I'll give it a shot over the weekend if I can find an oring. I sold Haygood about 40 of these a few years ago when they were hard to come by.
Re: hydro brake booster
Re: hydro brake booster Thanks, yeah I already looked. It's too much labor for me, but good luck! I just haven't had enough time to do my own stuff lately. But my big hangup is that the booster only lasted 30K miles. Maybe it is the time (10 years) rather than the actual mileage?
Re: hydro brake booster Tell Andy about it too. He just asked about the booster too. 95 525IT 86 635csi
Re: hydro brake booster See item 22 in link for a rebuild. I had a mechanic replace mine, and got rooked on the price. Found this later. 95 525IT 86 635csi
I just dropped mine off for a new one My last one lasted 9 years. I don't know if that's good when you consider I've only driven the car 30K miles during that time. The shop, of course, wants to replace the whole unit. I asked them if they would consider just the seal, but nope.

hydro brake booster Looking to see if anyone has one for parts, in particular the seal for the shaft. Mine just started leaking ooil all over the floor. If I go in and replace the o ring a seal would be nice. thanks Ed
