Re: Not sure on the wires, but how are the new lights? They are great, well worth it. I have always missed the Angel Eyes and I love them plus the projector low beams are nice. Fit right in and you just have to wire the Angle Eyes up. I conected them to my parking lights and also ran wires to a switch next to the convertable top switch. There was a blank spot there so I ordered a switch on Ebay. It is a double so one is for the Angle Eyes and the other is for the blue ribbon light in the side gills. The only trouble is aiming them, just the same as any headlights. Cheers, gm

Not sure on the wires, but how are the new lights? Major improvement on nighttime visibility? I find the stock lights to be pretty bad.

2000 Z3 Spare Wires I am replacing the headlights with a set of projector / angle eye headlights from http://www.roadstersolutions.com/page107.html#482 and the are awesome. My question is that there are two pair of wires with plugs behind the right headlight that I would like to know what they are for. One appears to be brn/wt and brn/orn with a yellow female plug with 1/8 inch round connectors, keyed and A1 on the plug. The other is grn/blk and grn / yel (same size) with BMW 1 378 416 and FGO on it, it is black. Does anyone know what they are four? i looked through the service manual and cannot find any reference. Thanks, gm
