If you are referring to the front seat headrests...then once you remove the back cover, peel back some of the leather from the tongs near the motor that should be mounted on the right side...remove the 2 screw that hold the motor (a right angle screwdriver makes this a lot easier)...then remove the screws on the bottom of the motor that secures the cable...pull the cable out. HERE'S THE QUICK TIP: take a 1/4" piece (straight) of metal coat hanger and place into the motor drive, then re-insert the cable. Test to make sure headrest is working then put everything back together. I know it sounds weird but it has worked for me and I did the procedure 2 years ago. IMPORTANT TIP: make sure you don't use a too long piece of metal because then the cable will not engage the drive and the headrest still won't work. The "metal extension" serves to re-center the cable within the sheathing. Sounds like a funky switch to me. Pull it out, sand down the prongs to shiny brass, pack in dielectric grease and try again. Grease the seat rails a bit too to help the motor out.
I missed your link. Can you send it to me.

Re: Trouble moving electric seat back
Trouble moving electric seat back Guys I have an 88 M635 highline with electric seats. Recently I had trouble moving the driver's seat backwards. When I pressed the button, I could hear a clicking noise from unnder the seat, but there was no movement. After trying everything I could think of, I eventually pushed the button in and out quite quickly and the seat started to move again. Any ideas what could cause this problem? Thanks in advance.
