Re: Insurance and track or autox events..... You'll usually be covered for drivers schools by many insurance companies, but I don't know of any that will cover you during ANY type of timed event. Once it can be considered competitive (even autox or time trials), insurance won't cover anything. Check your policy, however, as some companies don't cover schools anymore either.

Insurance and track or autox events..... I've been told that the average auto insurance policy will cover you if you are taking part in a "driver's school" on a track but not in any other circumstance. Can anyone confirm or does it depend on the provider? (are you covered in a BMWCCA sponsored autox?). TIA Sayjal
