    Missing alpnas?

Re: BMW - Alpina gap widens!

Still no 1er alpina! And the arrival of new 3er, X3 and 5er estate has created large gaps in the Alpina lineup! All the respected&important BMW tuners have already showed their 1ers, maybe alpina thinks they r so late that a basic 6-banger conversion simply isnt enough anymore..

We could only be so lucky

to have an Alpina of any kind as a new model in the US. My guess is that Alpina will do some sort of forced-induction car to give a throw back to the original BMW Alpina 2002 Turbo.

    Re: BMW - Alpina B1

    Should it be a s'charged four (2.0l 225bhp) or a big capacity six (3.3l 300bhp), or a big 6-pot turbo diesel (130d 218bhp) or even a OTT V-8 conversion (4.6l 347bhp)?
I like the idea of a sporty "kompressor" I4 and a luxo model V-8, perhaps two separate models are needed?

    BMW - Alpina B1

There is now a gap in the Alpina-BMW model range and a 1-series with luxurious/sporty appointments is needed! Would this be the One to first reach US?
