    I live in Cleveland and have had THREE sixers (two 645 cic's and one 650cic). Drove them all through the winter. Just buy a second set of smaller wheels with good snow tires (my summer wheels/tires are 20"), winters are 19". Smaller wheels and narrower tires put more weight/pressure on the rubber on the snowy road surface - you'll be fine.

    I put 19" Dunlop Wintersports on my new 650.

    So far, I've been impressed. I've used the Dunlops on a couple previous E65s and always had great luck, as well.

    I'm in Columbus, Ohio, so we get some snow, but not ungodly amounts.

    With good snow tires it's been my daily driver in Boulder, Colorado. Last year was one of the worst winters we experienced in a very long time with no problems. This year we've had a few snow storms again with 2nd year use on the Dunlops M3 sports so far so good. Yes I do take it up skiing. Only problem is it gets dirty.

    two and a half winters in chicago with no problems, snow tires are essential. my 645 is my daily driver year 'round and has been flawless.-lex

    that location leaves too much room. snow belt is like around cleveland or buffalo where there's 100"plus of snow. the answer is no if you requied to goto work. if you in columbus you might be able to get by using alseason or snow tires. where are you.

    Considering a 650 as a year-round vehicle, hoped to hear thoughts from other intrepid souls living north of the frostline on the subject.
