I bet you have something in the latch it takes about 1/2 hour to get into, I had to do 2 years ago, its the only way in

yes something seems stuck in the gasket on the inside

i had the same thing happen to me, is the trunk full of stuff, if so you have something in your latch, you must pull your stuff off the latch, i hope you have a ski bag thru to trunk, i didn't so this is what you need to do, pull open your rear arm rest pull cover back you will see a sheet metal oval where the ski bag should be but they have glued the hole shut, take a puddy knive and pop the hole back open along the glue line once you open the hole up 3/4 reach thru into trunk and pull whatever is on latch off, call me at 1-269-598-0815, if you need to talk about this, when this happen to me my trunk was full and i was out of town with everything in trunk

trunk won't open help

Help!! Went out to my 740il to ge some luggage and the trunk will not open. You can tell something is stuck but how am i going to get this to open. Any Ideas
