If you can not get a radio display to appear on your screen, and the radio fuse looks OK, then the radio module is probably bad.

It is relatively easy to repalace the radio module. You have to remove all of the electronics compoents in the trunk compartment: nav computer, TV module, CD changer, DSP amp, and telephone (if you have it. Then, you will remove a black felt liner and the radio module is mounted behind the liner. After that, it is just a simple plug-and-play replacement.

The radio has a fuse on it, so I would check the fuse first. If the fuse does not fix it, then you likely need a new radio.

I have nav screen and no radio. How do i replace the radio module???? Is there a fuse on the amp?? I have a 97 740il

Does the radio display on the screen? If not, then you probably have a dead radio module.

Do you have DSP? If so, you may have a dead DSP amp.

If you do not have DSP, then the problem could be either the radio module or your amplifier.

radio still dead

cd radio and tape will not work but the nav and display work??????? Hummm please help
