One of the biggest mistakes people make is the type of bulb they put in. The bulbs for that car do not have the tiny little round lead connectors at the end but instead you need the European ones where the little holes are now little footballs. Or as I like to say cat eyes. Some brands or light bulbs actually say (European) in the wrapper. Also it really sounds as if you have single filament bulbs in. The one side brighter than the other is usually two different brand bulbs and or different wattages. Grounds are rarely the problem.

Replace the LF bulb, it is a dual filament 1157. If this doesnt fix it, you need to work on the grounds to the front lights.

Front Driver Side Turn Signal Issue

I've seen a lot of similar turn signal issues on here, but none exactly match mine. I have a 1986 528e with 78k. When I have my parking lights on my front driver parking light seems brighter than the right and the turn signal does not work in the front, only the rear flashes fast. When I have my Headlights on same thing. I noticed that when my fog lights are on that the left fog light also seems brighter than the right. I wasn't sure if the two were connected somehow, but my main concern is getting the blinker to work again. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!!
