{means you cant have em]SO yES THAY ARE REALLY TRYING TO fORCE US INTO BUYING NEW CARS.lots of great parts cheap though,you just cant pull the moters

I have a catalytic converter specifically made for an E28 535. It has less than 10,000 miles on it as the previous owner totalled the car in an accident. The car was parted out after the insurance settlement. Located in Vacaville,CA-not far from Petaluma.

Looks like the price of catalytic converters dramatically jumped. Magnaflow list price for a weld-in is $441.

I Need a CA "New Deal " Cat

CA has changed the replacement Cat rules. They have to be approved for the specific vehicle now. Anybody out there had to deal w this? My usual cay sources got zip w the new CA "approvel" The obvious solution is to get a BMW $$$$$ cat or junk our cars. Any info appreciated. petalumabud
