Thanks. I took it to the dealer and they were able to activiate it for the remaining life at no charge.

Just got a 328iT , It is a CPO and assist does
cary over.The dealer had to activate it.

BMW Assist
I just bought a used 2008 BWM 328i hardtop convertible for my wife. It is not certified, as I got it from a lexus dealer. The original car came with 4 years/50k warrenty and 4 years BWM Assist service. Does anyone know if the BMW Assist service carries forward with a 2nd owner, and what I need to do to activiate it?
