Oil Leak (E36 M3) I have an oil leak and cannot tell where it's coming from. This is not normal oil burning it's leaking from somewhere. I took it to my mechanic he put it on the lift and looked thru bottom and top of engine (we both did). There's oil all over the bottom of the engine front to back. Hard to pinpoint where oil is coming from. Does not look like it's coming from drain plug because oils is all over front and above drain plug. If I run the car hard white smoke starts to come from under car. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Taking it back to mechanic in the morning. He said he is going to wash down engine completely top to bottom and let it dry. put car on lift and run it and see if he can tell where leak is coming from. Any suggestions of all and any areas where to check where oil could be leaking from would be appreciated. Thanx
