    Re: Huper Optiks Window Tinting

I have an update on the tinting that you may want to consider before putting tinting on your car. After having had the tinting for over a month, I finally rolled down the windows (first decent day in Dallas). I noticed that I had small scratches that extended from the top of my of two of my windows to the bottom of those windows. When I called the service advisor at my dealership he told me that BMW does not recommend putting tinting on the car and that any issues would be on my nickel. I complained about this and they said that they would look into it for free this one time. I guess that the seals on the window are quite tight and they can collect particulates. These particulates can scratch the tinting. I believe that they will replace the seals (this one time) for free. However, I have to pay to have the windows retinted.

Please keep this in mind if you are getting window tinting.

Re: how much and is it for all 4 windows plus back?

I do not remember exactly what it cost, but I believe it was around $350 for the four side windows and the back window.

yes it is but it's worth noting. Recent tint on

my E92 335 cut the response distance down to nearly zero.

Re: Post worthless without pics and how did it...

Sorry. I do not have pic's of the car.

I have not noticed any issues with the key fob reception. I haven't paid particular attention to it, but I haven't noticed any difference. I guess that that is a good thing.

    Huper Optiks Window Tinting

I bought a 2011 335i a few weeks ago and put the Huper Optiks window tinting on it. I believe they put the 35% version on my car. It did not adversely affect the radio reception and it seems to be pretty good. It is a little pricey but, so far, it seems to be worth it.
