Re: Car is an electrical non-starter
Car is an electrical non-starter Hoping Claudio or someone else is still around here and can help. A few days ago turned the car off ... then, though it turns over fine it will not start. Seems electrical. No voltage to fuse #17 (first checked the fuel pump, saw it did not have voltage, traced that to the fuse). Jumping voltage to #17 causes numerous relays to click (and the fuel pump to pump) but the car still will not start. On the ignition switch getting voltage to all 3 green leads, violet lead, and black/yellow lead. However, the 2 small gauge leads do NOT have voltage in any key position. The wiring diagram simply calls these "NCA" - which is a mystery to me. Could this be some quirk caused by the driveaway security system?
