If "extended maintenance" costs over $2K for our '07 3 wagon, I can't wait to hear how much $$ an extended warranty would cost!
I've owned two OLD BMW's in the past, a '95 E36 M3 and a '88 E28 M5.
I bought them both used.
Roadfly has wonderful discussion boards for these cars since they've been around for quite a while. The '07 3 wagon has not been around for very long, so, I'm a bit nervous about what's going to break. BMW has been waging a war against backyard mechanics for several years now. There isn't even a freaking dipstick anymore.
