Bushings and bearings are two separate and distinct things. Spherical bearings (hiems) are not bushings. A bushing rotates only in one axis with some slight possible deflection in a compliant material whereas a monoball or spherical bearing can rotate in more than one axis and is ridged. The only place a spherical type bearing can be used is on the sway bar ends. On a more positive note you can open up or enlarge to accommodate the adjuster as long as it is the only reason.
