Just communicating to the gentleman if his m3, 911 and m5 leave him wishing for more, then it may be time for custom toys.
As for simplicity, I think you've done a fine job expressing your emotions. Care to try it again?

excellent 4 door - sport, active everything, 24 way seats - category king for sure<img src="http://members.roadfly.com/chuckd/shepsig.jpg">
get a Lotus and you beat the heck out of them both. or an M3...
race cars are entirely different then street cars. just because a car is faster on the track it has absolutely no connection to being a better street car. If anything it usually the opposite !

Mike, Interesting dilemma....
Fundamentally though, the concept of precision handling and 4 door sedan are not compatible because of the sedans weight. Especially considering your reference points of the 911 and M3!
Now that being said, a question comes to mind...Have you ever been to a performance driving school? Like the ones put on by the Audi, BMW, and Porsche clubs?
If not, I would recommend attending one before buying your next "fun" car. You will get a whole new appreciation for what your German machinery is capable of....and become a MUCH better driver in the process.
guido
yes i did the 2 day Porsche school
it was simply awesome
You can't beat an RS6 for a year round daily drive which will out perform 90% of all cars in the dry and 99.9999% with any precipitation on the road. Finding a low miliage M5 is easy since they spend more time in the Garage than on the road, but finding a low milage RS6 is not so easy. 70000 miles on mine.
