Hello everyone, I have a 2001 x5 4.4i. The battery have been going dead every 5 to 6 hr. I notice that the power on the car am is staying on even when the radio is off. My Navig. computer unit keep spitting out the disc. HELP>>>>

hi i have a 4.4 2001 x5 too and just had a battery drain problem solved by a auto electrician. turned out to be the entertainment system was drawing 1.5 amps.
My battery drain was comming from the truck amp which was staying on. So, I cut the remote wire from the radio and hook it up to a power wire that work when I put the car on. know no more battery drain. I think it has to due with the tuner cause my navagation computer is not getting power and the radio keeps going off every few min..Would you know that cause that problem..
