APB... I need an exhaust - cat back.. new or used.

Finally the pinhole got bigger and now the emission test guys refuse to even test my M5.

The original rear muffler is on its deathbed. I might slap some patches on it to get it tested, but basically it is dead.

I have been fanatical about keeping my car totally stock. I have no complaints about the factory exhaust, But I am sure it is pricey.
I have had back luck with replacement mufflers from BMW, the original ones last decades, the replacements are rusted in half the time. I will call the stealer tomorrow and at least see what they offer.
I dont want anything noisy, but I would consider the aftermarket if there is a strong recommendation.

My best case scenario would be for one of you guys to have a stock exhaust gathering dust and you want to get rid of it.

or I HIGHLY recommend B&B Tri-Flo. Very deep and mellow rumble until you really get on it. Definitely NOT a buzz bomb type muffler. You can ussually find one used too.

FYI Rosario was the PO of my car..

I have a tri-flow on my M635, and I think its a little too loud. It sounds fantastic when it winds out on the highway, but it's just too loud around town. Can no longer sneak into my neighborhood "after hours"...lol

Steve Haygood quoted me a pretty good price on an O.E.M. muffler out of Germany. Delivery has been slow but the price was reasonable.
