you would be lucky to get over 35 MPH. For a city car (Calcutta, Mumbai, Delhi, etc) this is probably the perfect car. Also as most people will be able to afford this car, hopefully the Environmental enemy "Auto Rikshaws" will be out of business.
Kind of like the MB A class or the smart car.<html>

No offense, just seems like a very unsafe car if you get into the accident with any standard size car.http://forums1.roadfly.com/preferenc....php?img=44878
are wastly difference. Nobody drives a 6.0 V8 powered behemot 3T with 1 persn sitting inside much like the standard in most metropolitans in the US.
The standard is something like Geo Metro of the 90's...

enviromentalist complaint - so many people will afford it, they will pollute so much... well if we stop letting Al Gore flying around with his stuff and promoting global warming we actually save more gas and pollute less.
its like saying certain people can drive whatever they want because they are rich but poor people should ride motorcycle and horsecarriage otherwise they will destroy the rich people's world.
BS. let these poor guys drive one and enjoy what we have been. These people did not have a car they could afford.
I do not like Tata's products (I had experience with their older trucks in Europe 1992) and have not really in a position to say it is good or bad but for 2500 I'd buy one too. <a href="http://mydrive.roadfly.com/photos/pic.php?u=56726KDZYN&i=8969"><img src="http://mydrive.roadfly.com/photos/pic.php?u=56726KDZYN&i=8969" border="0"></a>

...individual cars driving off a cliff into a river as opposed to bus loads of people! It seems like there are constantly news reports about buses plunging off cliffs in New Delhi! Matt

the road system seems like really really bad and most likely bus drivers are overworked. its scary how some of the roads looks like there<a href="http://mydrive.roadfly.com/photos/pic.php?u=56726KDZYN&i=8969"><img src="http://mydrive.roadfly.com/photos/pic.php?u=56726KDZYN&i=8969" border="0"></a>
