Looking to purchase 2006 M5 need advice

I am currently looking at a 2006 M5 with 20K miles, the car is pretty loaded and very clean. This is a private sale and I am not sure what I should be paying for it, I checked kbb but those numbers are not always the correct ones? What would be a good price range for this vehicle?

Check galves.com for real wholesale pricing. 2006 m5(20000 miles) goes for $40000. Good buy price is $42000
