Cold Start

Recently, on a cold start (when i start the car for the first time in the morning 60-70s F) it cranks, but struggles. It kinda makes a chugging/stuttering sound, then finally cranks over.

The rest of the day is fine, and no issues turning the car on again.
once the car has started, RPM stay steady at about 600-800. They don't bounce around. It stays pretty consistent.

Whats weird is that during the snow here, and freezing temps, the car had no problems starting up in the morning.

Now that its a bit warmer, its stuttering a bit.

I did a search and saw a lot of suggestions ranging from starter, bad fuel, MAF needed cleaning, etc.

Was wondering if anyone had any other updates and/or suggestions

doesn't crank over fast? From this distant vantage point, I'd suggest a new battery. You did not give the history of the present one.

remove the gas filter - drain it into a clear
bottle, report your findings.

It will crank alright but hesitates to fire up in other words it doesn't turn over smoothly. Sometimes, especially when the car has been lying there in my garage for a couple of days, it will not fire up right away it will take a second crank to fire up. I hope this clarifies the issue.
The battery is 6 yrs old. Still got the original battery. However, going by the indicator (green) it's still fine and the electronics work fine. Is the starting issue is an indication of the a weak battery? I was thinking if the battery was weak it wouldn't be cranking in the first place and the electronics would be playing up.
I had the gas filter replaced a couple of months ago as part of inspection II.
I will have the condition of the fuel checked out. Easy DIY?

to be very unreliable. Don't use it. And a six year old battery is prime to be replaced. Does your car crank over quickly? That's the best question to ask. I don't know what turning over "smoothly" means. If it spins quickly without starting, problem is probably other than battery. Many choices.

It is time to get a 49DL Autozone. At 6 years your car is living on borrowed time. Do it and hopefully that cures the problem. If not you have not wasted a penny in spending on a battery at this time and perhaps saved money from having the battery go dead while somewhere on the road. Make sure to check the battery connections.
