Charcoal Canister or injector O-rings are about
the only things left that you haven't listed.
Have you checked the fuel lines on top of the fuel tank? How about where the rubber fuel pump hoses connect to the hard metal line right under and beyond the access hole for the pump carrier?
These are all good spots for the fuel to be smelled...
Re: Charcoal Canister or injector O-rings are about
I'm going to replace to injector rings tomorrow and someone mentioned the charcoal canister. I'm going to try that but do you think with such low kms that it could be a possibility? and wouldn't the smell be all the time instead of only when I've been driving it for more than 30 mins
Re: Charcoal Canister or injector O-rings are about
oh and i did check the lines on the fuel tank and the ones in the access hole. there are no signs of fuel there. the smell seems to only come about when under pressure from when i open full throttle
Full throttle is the clue; that points to injector
o-rings, since the fuel rail will be under the most pressure when vacuum to the regulators is cut at WOT. Also, did you check the return line to the tank, over on the right side of the firewall? They don't usually leak, no pressure, but it's the only one you didn't mention.
Re: Full throttle is the clue; that points to injector
