Re: Is this the new Dakar Yellow?
From what I've read that's it. But I don't know if it's available in the States!!
Atacama Yellow Part of Citrus Yellow AVAL 09/10

First, Sport seats with an exclusive black Alcantara/leather combination cradles passengers in comfort and luxury. The center of the seats and backrest panels are black Alcantara with yellow accents, matching the unique color scheme of the car. The armrests and center console are draped in black Nappa leather with door inserts in yellow Alcantara featuring a double lapped seam. The center of the passenger-side dashboard is also fit with black Alcantara, while the lower dashboard is colored in Citrus Yellow. Unique for this package is the Individual Piano Black wood trim, anthracite colored headliner and exclusive Atacama Yellow exterior.

Yes, saw it in the system as of Tuesday September 7 2010.
Are there pics of it on a current Z4?
Disregard that question...working...

Atacama Yellow is faster than Space Grey
My new yellow 35is is noticeably faster than my old grey 3.0 Sport, even though the new one has the flappy-paddle gearbox and the old one had a real 6-speed manual.
I'm sure the explanation is the color.
My local dealer has one on the front lot...
I first noticed it when I went there last week to buy a few parts for my E24, and now I find myself driving past it every day because it looks so stunning, especially with the top up.
Personally, I never much cared for the styling of the previous models, but this new one really has my attention. Much more purposeful-looking. <img src="http://homepage.mac.com/jessiemccann/larry/635csi.jpg" height=241 width=419>
