if you were suddenly carless, in your present situation, what would you be buying for:
- daily driver
- track toy (if any, and can be one in the same)
mine are:
- fiat 500 (subject to favorable test drive when it's available)
- dp4 (you knew i'd say that)

Those are the only compelling items anywhere near my poor boy price range. Alternately a used 3-series if I could find one with low miles.
No idea about a track toy.
Option B is a tacoma 4-dr and an E36 M3 for DE and street use. I don't have use for a total track car (time, finances, etc). Besides, I need to start looking at karting for Miles so that I can force him to live my dreams for me.

I love the 3er wagon for the family, but it's getting a little small what with all the car seats, so our next fam car will likely be some form of minivan.
In my present situation I have no use whatsoever for a track car.

but we have the forks and shock pulled down for maintenance. How long had it been since the fork oil was changed?
