Had them on the Z4. They sucked. Major tramlining, awful ride, and they were fragile. Hit a pothole and you'll be replacing one. I hit a small scrap of metal once that ripped the sidewall of the left rear and if it weren't for the TPM light, I wouldn't have noticed. So they do work, but the trade-off isn't worth it IMO.______________________________________________ ______________

Did you put regular wheels on the Z4 or do you not have that vehicle anymore?
I am looking at a CPO 2009 328i and the main thing keeping me from going any further is those run flats. I thought I read that you can swap them out, but I am not sure I want to bother with that cost/assache.
Which thankfully was quite quickly. Less than 20k miles and they were bald. I now have normal tires and the car handles and rides a hundred times better. I just bought a small air pump and can of fix-a-flat for the trunk.____________________________________________ ________________

and does running non-RF wheel/tires give you warning/messages on the dash?
Same wheels. TPM still works as it should.___________________________________________ _________________
