I good mate of mine brought a Coral Blue '56 Nomad with TorqThrusts, a healthy 327 with twin 4s and a 4 speed in Los Angeles. The guy who shipped it put it unsecured in a 40ft container with the handbrake on.
As you can imagine, it was totally unrecognisable when it arrived, and only the driveline was salvageable.

Don't worry if your container was on damaged because it merely got a scratch or dent. As always, most likely barges are overloaded in spite of experience, and knowledge of problems.
