Maybe not at 6psi but to get that 15psi they say it's capabile of you will get some serious lag.. neat idea for v8 which can't fit turbos under the hood... for the price you could just bolt on a vortec SC and walk away 4 hours later with 12psi on the supercharger.. no lag..
What happens to a turbo housing when splashes with water? Will it crack??
Also, better hope he does not bottom out that Camaro!<img src="http://members.roadfly.org/captdaddy/small%20side.jpg" height=30 width=110>
nasty heat energy... the stuff that makes the turbo spin. They blew it with the heat comment. What part of a turbo makes heat???? None. The turbo allows the engine to make more power which is realized as mechanical energy and HEAT energy. Equal size engines of the same type, making the same power while using the same fuel at equal efficiencies will produce the same amount of heat. Iron and steels will glow red at 1100 degrees F in low light...add a little Photo Shopping and it looks like a magma chamber.
Looks like a way to sell turbo kits with little input from the gray matter.
12psi in four hrs and no lag??????
Max boost isn't until 6k or so.....................
