Just bought a 1976 ITB 2002 and was wondering what is the safe redline on the car? Also, any weak points that should be addressed? The motor is freshly rebuilt to the limits of ITB.

Safe for that car should be around 65-6800 RPMs
the perfect 2002 guru who likely knows more about the car than the people who designed it at this point. He maintains a fleet of ITB 2002s.
